Most travel clothing asks you to choose. Pyjamas you would not want to be seen in, or real clothes that punish you at altitude. We made the third option.
It started on a red-eye
Lachlan our founder was fourteen hours into a flight, cold, wide awake, and going through a carry-on for an eye mask that had not made it into the bag. The cabin light stayed on. Sleep did not happen.
That flight ended with a fairly simple question. Why does the thing you need most on a plane always live somewhere else in your luggage?
AVIONLUX started as the answer. We built the set we wished we had packed.
The details are the product
The eye mask is sewn into the hood of the Dream Hoodie. Pull it down when you want to sleep, fold it away when you do not. Nothing to pack, nothing to lose, nothing to hunt for in the dark.
Seven pockets, five of them zippered, so a passport and a phone stay where you put them while you sleep. A midweight cotton and polyester blend that holds warmth in a freezing cabin without turning heavy when the air comes back on.
None of it is decoration. Every detail on this garment exists because something went wrong on a flight once.
Designed as a set
The Dream Hoodie and Dream Pants are cut to work together. Same three colour-ways, Midnight, Dusk and Dawn. Same sizing, XS through 2XL. Bought together as the Dream Set, they cost less than buying them separately, and shipping is free on any two items.
Worn together, it reads as an outfit rather than two pieces that happen to match. That is the point. You should be able to walk off a plane and into dinner without changing.
The standard we hold
We produce in small runs. It costs more and moves slower, and it means we can hold quality and adjust fit between drops instead of pushing volume.
We chose the blend we use after testing pure cotton against it. Cotton looked better on day one. The blend looked better after twenty washes, held its shape, and kept its colour. We went with the one that survives being owned.
Travel better
Fourteen hours is a long time to simply endure. We would rather you arrive like the trip has not already happened to you.
